Charming village atmosphere with dog-friendly options.
The cleanliness in our room left much to be desired, with dust present and some areas feeling unkempt. The bathroom particularly required more attention, including dusty skirting boards that made for an uncomfortable experience. we noticed that the bed showed signs of wear and the overall ambiance felt dark and uninviting.

We stayed for two nights while visiting Anglesey Abbey, and we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. The breakfast was exceptional, offering plenty of delicious options that filled us up for the day. Even though there were a few hiccups like the lack of bath towels at check-in, the owners who have only been there for a short while were doing their best to ensure everything was comfortable. The close proximity to local attractions made our excursions easy and fun.

The hash browns were crispy, like a perfect golden crown! Eating breakfast here really set a vibrant tone for the day. Plus, the bed was comfy and clean, making it easy to recharge for our adventures.
It's a shame that when we stayed, the hotel was transitioning to new management. The staff were friendly but seemed held back by a lack of stock for the kitchen. The rooms could use a refresh, and the bathroom looked worn, but all in all, everything still shined.

The breakfast featuring freshly prepared eggs was fantastic and generous in size, a highlight of the stay. the rooms were in need of a thorough cleaning, with mold on walls and ill-fitting curtains in one room, compromising privacy. The shower cubicles were quite small, and the hot water supply struggled to keep up during busy morning hours, making it difficult for the group to prepare for their events comfortably.
